Special Issue Introduction
Robots and intelligent systems are critical across various areas, such as industrial applications, service and personal assistants, space, underwater and remote exploration, military applications, agriculture applications, and intelligent vehicles. Central to their functionality is the capacity to collect abundant information to achieve Human-Inspired perception and control. The information consists of the Depth camera, LIDAR, RGB image, sonar, Hyperspectral image, Neuromorphic vision, etc.
This Special Issue aims to gather a selection of outstanding studies on information processing within the field of robotic intelligence. This will provide a snapshot of the current research progress in research contributions to high-level computational intelligence and its applications in robotic systems.
The range of potential topics includes, but is not limited to:
● Intelligent vehicles;
● Industrial robots;
● Underwater or aerial robots;
● Data mining;
● Computer vision;
● LIDAR and points processing;
● Sonar perception;
● Signal processing technology;
● Machine learning and network design;
● Other contact or non-contact sensory technology;
● Artificial intelligence;
● Intelligent control.
