Congratulations to the Forty-seven JCMT Editorial Board Members Ranked Among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.
On September 19 (local time), Stanford University Professor John P. A. Ioannidis and Elsevier jointly released the 2025 Stanford World's Top 2% Scientists List.
This prestigious ranking evaluates researchers' influence from two dimensions: Career-long Impact, which reflects lifetime scientific contributions, and Single-year Impact, which highlights academic achievements within the past year.
It is with great pride that we announce:
- 25 Members have been selected for the Career-long Impact category
- 47 Members have been included in the Single-year Impact category
(Note: The names are listed in no particular order. For corrections or updates, please contact the JCMT Editorial Office.)
Editorial Board Members Recognized in Both Career-long and Single-year Impact Rankings
Editorial Board Members Recognized in the Single-year Impact Ranking
The ranking, jointly compiled by Stanford University and the authoritative academic publisher Elsevier, is based on a comprehensive set of citation metrics. These include total citation counts, H-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and citations of single-authored or first-authored papers. Drawing from a global pool of approximately 10 million scientists across 22 disciplines and 174 sub-disciplines, the list highlights the top 2% of scholars worldwide in terms of research output and scientific influence.
The remarkable number of JCMT Editorial Board Members selected this year fully demonstrates their outstanding academic contributions and global influence in oncology and related interdisciplinary fields. It also reflects the journal's strength in bringing together leading experts and advancing the frontiers of cancer research.
We sincerely congratulate all the honorees and look forward to seeing JCMT continue to thrive under the leadership of its distinguished experts, driving new progress in cancer metastasis and treatment research worldwide.
