IR Associate Editors Named 2025 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers

On November 12, 2025, Clarivate Analytics published its prestigious 2025 Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) list, recognizing scientists whose research publications rank in the top 1% by citations for their field and year, reflecting significant global influence within their respective disciplines.

We are pleased to share that two Associate Editors of Intelligence & Robotics (IR) have been named to this distinguished list, highlighting their outstanding research excellence and scholarly impact.

Prof. Xiang Bai
Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China

Prof. Xiang Bai is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China and has been recognized for multiple consecutive years as an Elsevier Highly Cited Scientist. His research focuses on computer vision, pattern recognition, and deep learning, with sustained contributions that have significantly influenced both fundamental research and applied developments in these fields.

Prof. Lei Shu
Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China
University of Lincoln, Lincoln, United Kingdom

Prof. Lei Shu is a Professor at Nanjing Agricultural University and a Lincoln Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the University of Lincoln. He currently serves as Director of the NAU-Lincoln Intelligent Engineering Research Center and Vice Dean of the College of Smart Agriculture at Nanjing Agricultural University. He is recognized among the ScholarGPS top 0.05% of scientists worldwide (details can be found in the ScholarGPS 2024 Global Top 0.05% Scientists List) and has been listed as a Stanford Top 2% Scientist (details can be found in the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List). His research interests include wireless sensor networks, the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and intelligent plant protection, with long-term contributions to agricultural intelligent sensing and data-driven decision making.
