Special Issue Introduction
The recent emerging trend in advanced intelligent systems has attracted much attention from both academic and industrial areas. Intelligent systems have covered a wide range of applications, such as industrial production lines, remote robots, legged robots, aerial vehicles, etc. Although the hardware development of intelligent systems has achieved huge progress, there still exists a gap between theory and practice regarding the performance evaluation and optimization of intelligent systems at the software level. The research community is actively developing performance evaluation and optimization approaches for different kinds of intelligent systems in a practical environment. Therefore, this Special Issue aims to collect state-of-the-art performance evaluation and optimization methodologies from the wide research community around the world. Potential topics of this Special Issue include but are not limited to the following:
● Performance evaluation techniques for intelligent systems;
● Optimization techniques for intelligent systems;
● Consensus and formation performance evaluation for multi-agent intelligent systems;
● Intelligent performance evaluation methods for aerial systems;
● Artificial intelligence for complex intelligent systems;
● Computer vision-based methods for industrial systems;
● Navigation methods for remote robotic systems;
● Performance enhancement methods for legged robotic systems.
