102 Scholars Affiliated with Intelligence & Robotics Named to World's Top 2% Scientists List

On October 7, 2026, a research team led by Professor John P. A. Ioannidis at Stanford University released the latest edition of the World's Top 2% Scientists list in collaboration with Elsevier.

The list comprises two categories: Career-Long Impact, which assesses research impact over researchers' careers, and Single-Year Impact, which assesses research impact in the preceding year.

A total of 68 scholars affiliated with Intelligence & Robotics (IR) were included in the Career-Long Impact category, while 101 were included in the Single-Year Impact category. In total, 102 scholars from the IR community were included in at least one of the two categories.

The scholars include members of the journal's Editorial Board, Guest Editors, and authors who published articles in IR in 2026. Their inclusion reflects the outstanding research achievements and academic influence of the journal's scholarly community across artificial intelligence, robotics, and related interdisciplinary fields.

IR congratulates all the scholars named in the list and thanks them for their continued support and contributions to the journal.
