Cancer Drug Resistance Journal Initiates Global Recruitment for Junior Editorial Board Members
Cancer Drug Resistance (CDR) Journal, an internationally peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal founded by OAE Publishing Inc., invites qualified candidates to join its Junior Editorial Board. Since its launch in March 2018, the journal has gained recognition by being indexed in significant databases such as ESCI, PubMed Central® (PMC), and Scopus. CDR attained its first Impact Factor (IF) of 3.7 in June 2023, and obtained a CiteScore of 5.5 in the Scopus database for 2022, ranking among the top 30% in the field of pharmacy. The real-time CiteScore Tracker in Scopus is 6.5. As the sole journal exclusively dedicated to cancer drug resistance, CDR continues to pioneer in this crucial field.
In an effort to enrich the journal's vibrancy, build a backup editorial team, amplify its impact, attract high-quality submissions, and provide a broader international academic exchange platform for young scholars in the field, CDR is actively recruiting Junior Editorial Board members from global universities and research institutions.
Qualifications:
- Robust academic background with adherence to academic ethics.
- Research expertise and interests related to cancer drug resistance.
- Below 40 years of age with a Ph.D. or associate professorship and above.
- Demonstrated a high academic level and proficiency in English writing.
- Publication of a minimum of 10 articles, with at least three high-quality papers as the first or corresponding author in international mainstream journals in pharmacy, cancer research, or drug resistance within the last three years.
- Advantageous to have prior experience in reviewing for international top-tier journals and thematic planning.
Alignment with the journal's development direction and a willingness to dedicate time and effort to its growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Journal promotion:
- Actively promote the journal at international academic conferences or other academic exchange events.
- Write promotional articles for the latest research published in the journal and collaborate in promoting the journal across various social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, WeChat, etc.
2. Participate in peer review of manuscripts:
Thoroughly review a minimum of three manuscripts annually to uphold the journal's high-quality standards.
3. Contribute high-quality manuscripts:
Author at least one high-quality paper per year as the first or corresponding author for the journal (or invite high-quality submissions).
4. Assist in journal development:
Collaborate with the editorial team in planning hot and cutting-edge topics based on the latest research trends in the field.

7. Receive priority promotion on the journal’s official accounts for academic achievements, team development, recruitment information, etc., including Twitter, LinkedIn, WeChat, and other platforms.
8. Outstanding Junior Editorial Board members may be promoted to become regular Editorial Board members based on active contributions.

1. After the initial screening by the Editorial Office, qualified applications will be submitted to the Editorial Board members for selection.
2. The selection results will be announced, and the Editorial Office will notify the selected Junior Editorial Board members via email and issue certificates.
