Figure 3. Absolute risk and risk reduction of incident cirrhosis in the MASLD population by PhenoAge acceleration across genetic risk category. Genetic risk was categorized into low-intermediate (quintiles 1-4), and high (the highest quintile). The 10-year absolute risks were standardized for age and sex in the UK Biobank. The HRs were estimated using Cox proportional hazards regression with adjustment for age, sex, ethnicity, Townsend deprivation index, body mass index, alcohol status, smoking status, physical activity, history of hypertension, history of diabetes, and history of heart disease. The 10-year absolute risk reduction and 95%CI were generated by drawing 1,000 bootstrap samples from the estimation dataset.
