Topic: Smart Hydrogels and Bio-Integrated Soft Platforms for Regenerative Medicine

This Special Issue aims to showcase cutting-edge advances in smart hydrogels and bio-integrated soft platforms that bridge materials science and regenerative medicine. We seek contributions that demonstrate how adaptable, stimuli-responsive, and multifunctional soft systems can mimic or reconstruct tissue microenvironments, promote the repair of damaged organs, and interface seamlessly with biological systems. By integrating insights from hydrogel design, bioactive cue engineering, soft bioelectronics, and translational studies, this collection highlights next-generation strategies for regenerative therapies enabled by intelligent soft materials.

Key areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

● Stimuli-responsive, self-healing, and injectable hydrogels for tissue regeneration and wound healing;

● Conductive, piezoelectric, or photoresponsive hydrogels for soft bioelectronics and sensingapplications;

● Hybrid systems combining hydrogels with nanoparticles, aggregation-induced emission(AIE) materials, or cell/membrane coatings;
