Special Issue
Topic: Tumor Microenvironment and Drug Resistance
Guest Editor(s)
Special Issue Introduction
The tumor microenvironment consists of various cells including tumor cells, immune cells, cancer-associated fibroblasts, stromal cells, and non-cellular components such as vascular systems, exosomes, cytokines, chemokines, acidic environment, and hypoxic environment, which play an important role in the process of tumor resistance. Insight into the interaction between tumor cells and the surrounding microenvironment is a new concept for a profound, comprehensive and accurate understanding of the key molecules and mechanisms for action mediating tumor resistance.
