The Third Editorial Board Meeting of Metabolism and Target Organ Damage Held Successfully

On October 21, 2024, the third international Editorial Board meeting of the Metabolism and Target Organ Damage (M&TOD) Journal was successfully held online. The meeting gathered Editor-in-Chief Prof. Amedeo Lonardo and 27 Editorial Board members from 9 countries. Chaired by the journal's managing editor, Alani Luo, the meeting focused on discussing the journal's future direction and development strategies.

Meeting Agenda

The meeting opened with a welcoming address from Editor-in-Chief Prof. Amedeo, who emphasized the essential role of the Editorial Board in the journal's growth and shared his vision for its future. Associate Publisher Xun Ning then introduced OAE Publishing Inc., followed by Assistant Editor Tilda Li, who reported on the current status and development goals of M&TOD, covering its history, field positioning, and the challenges it faces. Editorial Board members engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues, including enhancing the journal's influence, attracting high-quality articles, speeding up manuscript processing, and promoting journal content.

Conclusion

In his closing remarks, Editor-in-Chief Prof. Amedeo expressed heartfelt thanks for the active participation of all members, noting that the discussions were lively and productive and provided clear direction for the journal's future development. The M&TOD Journal will continue to focus on enhancing academic quality and influence, and looks forward to working with all Editorial Board members, authors, and reviewers to achieve a brighter future together.
