Exciting Announcement: 45 Members Recognized in 2025 Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists list!
We are delighted to announce that 45 distinguished Editorial Board members of Mini-invasive Surgery (MIS, Online ISSN: 2574-1225) have been named to the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists list. This highly prestigious list, jointly released by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis’ team at Stanford University and Elsevier, celebrates scientific excellence in two dimensions: Lifetime Scientific Impact, which reflects the cumulative impact of a scientist’s career, and Annual Scientific Impact, which highlights outstanding achievements in the past year.
This honor highlights the outstanding research contributions of our board members and underscores their active engagement in advancing scientific knowledge within the field of minimally invasive surgery. Their recognition inspires MIS to further support and disseminate high-quality research in the discipline.

About the Global Top 2% Scientists List:
The list is compiled using comprehensive metrics—including citation counts, h-index (measuring both the quantity and impact of a researcher's publications), co-author-adjusted h-index, and citations of sole or first-author papers. Evaluating approximately 10 million scientists worldwide, it identifies those ranked in the top 2% across 22 main fields and 174 subfields, reflecting both research output and academic influence.
