Winners of the Mini-invasive Surgery 2024 Best Paper Awards

We are pleased to announce the winners of the "Mini-invasive Surgery 2024 Best Paper Awards", which recognize and encourage outstanding contributions to the field of mini-invasive surgery. The awards honor research articles published between January 1 and December 31, 2023. Three exceptional papers have been selected - congratulations to the recipients!

Selection Process

The selection process was rigorous and conducted by the Journal’s Scientific Committee, led by Prof. Giulio Belli (Editor-in-Chief). The evaluation was based on the following criteria:
1.Overall contribution to scientific research;
2. Originality of research objectives;
3. Novelty in perspectives or methodologies;
4. Significance to the field and relevance to readers;
5. Scientific soundness and data quality;
6. Citations in 2024 (Sources: Web of Science, Google Scholar).

Eligibility Requirements:

-Original Articles published in Mini-invasive Surgery between January 1 and December 31, 2023;
-Both regular and Special Issue submissions were eligible.

Awards:

-First Prize: $500
-Second Prize: $300 each
-All winners will receive an official award certificate signed by the Editor-in-Chief

First Prize
Title: Robotic liver surgery, technique, liver parenchyma dissection, the Robotic Harmonic curved shears, Trans-parenchymal Glissonian first approach
