Microstructures Achieves a 2025 Impact Factor of 8.5 and Maintains Q1 Ranking
On June 17, 2026, Clarivate released the latest edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). We are delighted to announce that Microstructures has achieved a 2025 Impact Factor of 8.5. In the Materials Science, Multidisciplinary category, Microstructures ranks 95th among 472 journals, placing it in the first quartile (Q1). This achievement reflects the journal's continued growth, expanding international visibility, and the high quality of the research published by our authors worldwide.
Since its inception, Microstructures has been dedicated to publishing innovative and impactful research in materials science, with a particular focus on understanding, designing, and engineering microstructures for advanced functional applications. The journal's steady progress reflects the collective efforts of its Editorial Board members, authors, reviewers, readers, and publishing team.
