2025 Annual Report of Journal of Translational Genetics and Genomics
The year 2025 marked an important stage in the ongoing development of Journal of Translational Genetics and Genomics (JTGG; ISSN 2578-5281). Throughout the year, the journal remained committed to its mission of publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed research that advances the translation of discoveries in genetics and genomics into clinical and healthcare applications. By enhancing editorial standards, expanding international participation, and promoting academic exchange, JTGG has continued to establish itself as a reliable young international open access journal.
Message from the Editor-in-Chief
It is my great pleasure to share that Journal of Translational Genetics and Genomics has officially received its first Impact Factor of 1.0 in the Journal Citation Reports™ (Clarivate). This marks an important milestone for a relatively new journal that has been steadily building its reputation in the field of genetics and genomics. Despite its short history, the journal has worked tirelessly to establish itself as a credible platform for advancing scientific knowledge through high-quality research publications, carefully curated Special Issues, thought-provoking webinars, and dynamic academic discussions. Achieving this Impact Factor reflects both the journal's commitment to excellence and the growing recognition of its contributions within the scientific community.
As we continue to grow, I strongly encourage researchers and scientists working in genetics, genomics, and related fields to consider submitting their work to JTGG. By doing so, you not only gain an opportunity to showcase your research on a global platform but also contribute to shaping a resource that actively drives innovation, informs healthcare practice, and advances the broader scientific and societal impact of translational genomics. Together, we can build on this momentum and strengthen the role of the journal as an active platform for scientific exchange and collaboration.
Thank you to all Editorial Board members, authors, reviewers, readers, and editorial staff for your invaluable support.
Prof. Sanjay Gupta
Editor-in-Chief
