The 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List Released: Iontronics' Honorary Editor-in-Chief Prof. Zhong Lin Wang Ranked No. 1 Worldwide

On September 19, 2025, Stanford University and Elsevier jointly released the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List. This list is based on a comprehensive assessment of scientists' career-long impact (Career-long Impact) and recent research performance (Single-year Impact), covering 22 disciplines and 174 subfields. It is widely regarded as an important international reference for measuring scientific impact.

According to the latest data, a total of 230,333 scientists worldwide were included in the Career-long Impact ranking, and 236,313 scientists were included in the Single-year Impact ranking. Iontronics' Honorary Editor-in-Chief Prof. Zhong Lin Wang ranked No. 1 globally on both lists, a recognition of his outstanding and sustained contributions to scientific research and his significant international academic influence.
