Dr. Jung earned Ph.D. in Molecular Cellular Biology at University of Florida, College of Medicine. she worked as a research associate from 2006 to 2008 and an assistant professor from 2008 to 2010 at Duke University College of Medicine, division of gastroenterology. In 2010, she joined the faculty of the department of Biological Sciences at Pusan National University where she have been working as a professor since 2019.

liver fibrosis, liver regeneration, stem cell therapy, cellular reprogramming, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
