Dr. Lonardo is the professor of Pathology at Wayne State University Medical School, Detroit, MI, USA. He graduated summa cum laude in Medicine at the 2nd Medical Scool, Naples, Italy, trained in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Rochester Medical School, Rochester, NY and in oncologic surgical pathology at MSKCC, NY. He did postdoctoral research fellowships in molecular biology at the NCI/NIH, Washington, DC and at the Rockefeller Institute, NY. His research has focused on morphological, molecular, and epidemiological aspects of thoracic malignancies.
