An Insightful Conversation with Prof. YongAn Huang, Editor-in-Chief of Soft Science

On June 5, 2024, the Editorial Office of Soft Science conducted an online interview with its newly appointed Editor-in-Chief, Prof. YongAn Huang, from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, Hubei, China. In the interview, Prof. Huang shared his academic background, research focus, and vision for the future development of Soft Science.

Prof. Huang discussed the important role of academic journals in fostering scholarly communication and interdisciplinary collaboration. He also shared his perspectives on emerging research trends in flexible and wearable electronics. In addition, he outlined his editorial vision for Soft Science and warmly invited researchers from diverse fields to submit high-quality work, expressing his hope to explore scientific frontiers together and to promote the journal's continuous development.
