Collection Scope

The Special Collection is to encourage innovative work in the drug resistance field which goes beyond finding new inhibitors for ABC transporters. We welcome papers about multidrug resistance describing new transporters, detailed pathways and mechanisms of action for previously described drug resistance modalities, new transcription factors, new cell cycle checkpoints, new approaches to target ABC transporters including photodynamic therapy and nanomedicine, new regulatory mechanisms such as lncRNAs, miRNA, etc., and addressing subjects such as uptake/efflux/metabolism/persistence/cellular environment etc.

Following initial triage, suitable manuscripts submitted to this Special Collection will undergo external peer review.

Keywords

New transporters, new transcription factors, new cell cycle checkpoints, new approaches to target ABC transporters, new regulatory mechanisms

Deadline for Submission: Ongoing

The collection will be permanently available, and its scope will be adjusted annually to incorporate the latest research advances within this topic.
