Every RNCDR model is assembled from three components: the Anderies pre-industrial subnetwork representing the natural carbon cycle among land biota ($$ A_1 $$), atmosphere ($$ A_2 $$), and ocean ($$ A_3 $$); the fossil fuel emission reaction connecting the total carbon stock ($$ A_4 $$) to the atmosphere; and the CDR carbon storage pool ($$ A_i $$) representing a specific NET. The three components combine into a single chemical reaction network with power-law kinetics.
