Prof. Ju-Sheng Zheng
School of Medicine and School of Life Sciences, Westlake University, Hangzhou, China.
Biography:
Ju-Sheng Zheng is a principal investigator at the School of Medicine and School of Life Sciences at Westlake University, Hangzhou, China. Ju-Sheng finished his PhD training in nutrition and genomics at Zhejiang University/Tufts University. He was a postdoctoral fellow focusing on nutrition and genetic epidemiology at the University of Cambridge. He established his group at Westlake University since 2018. A major research interest of Ju-Sheng’s group at Westlake is precision nutrition research with the application of novel study design and nutri-microbiome epidemiology approach using cross-cohort large scale databases. He is also interested in computational medicine research using prospective cohort studies, as to identify novel nutrition and molecular biomarkers for human chronic diseases using computational and system biology methods. Ju-Sheng has published over 100 papers in high profile journals such as BMJ, Gut, Nature Metabolism, Cell Host & Microbe, etc.
