Professor Frederic Zenhausern is the Director of the Center for Applied NanoBioscience and Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. His expertise spans biomedical engineering, translational sciences, and nanomedicine. Prior to joining the University of Arizona, he led research initiatives at Arizona State University’s Biodesign Institute, where he directed the Center for Applied NanoBioscience and established international collaborations in flexible display technology and nanoelectronics. Professor Zenhausern has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and holds over 30 U.S. patents. He is a Fellow of both the U.S. National Academy of Inventors and the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering. His entrepreneurial achievements and pioneering work in nanotechnology applications for medicine have made him a leading figure in biomedical engineering.
