Vessel Plus has received its first official Impact Factor of 0.7, as announced in the 2025 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) by Clarivate on June 18, 2025. The journal is ranked 200th out of 230 journals in the Cardiac & Cardiovascular Systems category and is classified in Q4.
With a forward-looking approach that bridges clinical practice, research, and health policy, Prof. Krumholz discussed the development of learning health systems, the promotion of global equity in cardiovascular care, and the evolving role of scientific journals in advancing impactful, innovative medicine. He emphasized the integration of real-time patient data with AI tools to revolutionize clinical decision making, predicting that AI will become central to routine care within the next five years. Addressing the challenges of diagnostic delays and disparities, he advocated for scalable, context-sensitive reforms, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
In the interview, Prof. Kramer shared timely perspectives on artificial intelligence (AI), international collaboration, and strategies for addressing global challenges in cardiovascular care.
Prof. Porter’s insights underscore a pivotal shift in cardiovascular imaging—one that blends diagnostic precision, therapeutic potential, and global accessibility. As contrast echocardiography continues to evolve, it holds the promise of reshaping cardiovascular care on a global scale.
Vessel Plus is seeking passionate young scholars from around the world to join its Youth Editorial Board for a two-year term.
Application Deadline: June 30, 2025.
