Cover Picture: Leprosy, included in the group of neglected tropical diseases, is an endemic disease in Brazil, with concentration of high detection rates in specific areas of the Brazilian territory, in regions with low socioeconomic and human development indices. The picture shows the residence with identification of leprosy case in the municipality of Tremedal, State of Bahia, and marked clusters with high detection rates in Brazil from 2017 to 2019. This study aims to develop a new score to facilitate and improve the quantitative assessment of indicators that guide the monitoring and surveillance of leprosy.
