Special Issue Introduction
As we know, metabolic and bariatric surgery is a recognized and accepted approach for both weight-loss and many of the conditions that occur as a result of severe obesity. Most metabolic and bariatric surgeries today are performed using minimally invasive techniques. Discussing the widening applications and latest developments of metabolic and bariatric surgery will be an interesting issue.
