Scope:This Special Issue focuses on interface chemistry and engineering in emerging electrochemical energy storage systems, aiming to advance the fundamental understanding and rational design of interfacial processes.

Topics include, but are not limited to:
Interfacial reactions and stability (SEI/CEI) Electrolyte–electrode interactions Interface-regulated reaction mechanisms Materials design for interface stabilization In situ/operando characterization of interfaces Applications in zinc-ion, sodium-ion, lithium, and solid-state batteries Interface-related electrocatalysis
