As the world seeks sustainable solutions to energy challenges and climate change, biofuels and carbon resource utilization emerge as pivotal areas driving environmental sustainability and energy security. The Special Issue on Biofuels and Carbon Resource Utilization delves into the forefront of sustainable energy research, focusing on biofuels/biomaterials production, carbon capture, and utilization strategies. Key themes include biofuel synthesis from biomass and waste carbon resources, catalytic conversion processes, functional bio-based materials preparation, carbon sequestration techniques, and the integration of bioenergy with carbon-neutral technologies.
