Topic: Preparation of Porous Materials and Its Applications in Carbon Capture, Carbon Utilization and Carbon Cycling
Guest Editor
Special Issue Introduction
Porous materials have garnered significant attention due to their remarkable efficacy in catalytic reactions, CO2 capture and conversion, and contaminant adsorption. These materials exhibit a high pore ratio, comprising micropores, mesopores, or macropores, which vary based on the material type and synthesis method. Examples include porous polymers, zeolites, activated carbon, mesoporous carbon nitride, and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). This Special Issue is dedicated to showcasing the latest technologies and advancements in porous materials for carbon capture, utilization, and cycling, ultimately contributing to zero emissions.
