Special Issue
Topic: New Materials Design for the Next Generation of Flow Batteries
Guest Editor(s)
Special Issue Introduction
Flow batteries (FB) are one of the most appealing energy storage technologies to address the intermittency problem from renewable energy due to their unique and outstanding features. In recent years, FB technology has seen growth not only in terms of development, which has spread all over the world, but also in terms of new battery concepts with new chemistries being demonstrated. This Special Issue aims to collect the latest improvements of this promising technology, ranging from the synthesis of materials to the design of devices or the testing and demonstration of emerging concepts.
