First CiteScore of Plastic and Aesthetic Research Announced
We are thrilled to announce that Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR, ISSN 2349-6150, Online) received its first CiteScore of 1.4, ranking 285th in Q3 among 495 journals in the category of "Medicine: Surgery"[Figure 1]. This achievement signifies the remarkable progress of PAR in the field of plastic surgery, driven by its high-quality open-access publications.

CiteScores were launched by Elsevier 12 years ago and are now accessible for over 28,100 titles spanning 333 disciplines. According to Scopus, "CiteScore metrics deliver greater insight into research impact and influence." CiteScore measures the average citations received per document over a four-year period and is widely recognized in the research community.
