PAR Impact Factor Rises to 2.3, Advancing to Q2 in the Surgery Category
We are delighted to announce that Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR) has achieved a 2025 Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 2.3, according to the latest edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), released by Clarivate on June 17, 2026.
This achievement marks a significant milestone in the journal's development. Compared with its previous Impact Factor, PAR has recorded an impressive 155.6% increase, reflecting the journal's growing academic influence and visibility within the global surgical community.
With this achievement, PAR has advanced from Q3 to Q2 in the Surgery category and is now ranked 105th among 321 journals, corresponding to a 67.4th percentile in the field. This progress highlights the journal's growing visibility and underscores the strength and authenticity of its citation performance.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, Guest Editors, reviewers, authors, readers, and academic partners worldwide.
