Plastic and Aesthetic Research Received the First Impact Factor
On June 18, 2025, Clarivate officially released the 2025 edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and we are pleased to share that Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR) has received its first Impact Factor of 0.9, placing the journal in Q3 within the “Surgery” category.
This achievement marks important progress for PAR since its inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). As a young and growing open access journal, this initial Impact Factor is a promising start—recognizing the collective efforts of our Editorial Board, the valuable contributions of researchers worldwide, and the continued trust and support of our academic community. While the Impact Factor is only one indicator of a journal’s progress, it highlights the positive momentum and growing recognition of PAR within the scientific community.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who have contributed to PAR’s development—our Editorial Board members, authors, reviewers, and readers. Your dedication, collaboration, and feedback have been instrumental in this achievement. Looking ahead, PAR remains committed to publishing high-quality research and promoting academic excellence in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. We will continue to refine the peer review process, raise the standard of published research, and foster global collaboration.
With a long-term vision and the shared commitment of the global academic community, PAR will continue advancing—step by step, toward greater influence, innovation, and excellence.
