Announcement of Journal of Surveillance, Security and Safety Best Guest Editor Award 2024

To acknowledge and encourage Guest Editors of Journal of Surveillance, Security and Safety (JSSS) who edit Special Issues with high-quality published articles, we established the 2024 Best Guest Editor Award. One Guest Editor will be awarded Best Guest Editor.

Eligibility requirements:    
Guest Editors of JSSS who have completed their Special Issues with an E-book with at least ten high-quality papers by the end of 2024 will be included.

Selection criteria:      
1. Quality of the published papers in the Special Issue;      
2. Number of papers (at least ten published articles);      
3. Citations and downloads of all published articles (Data source: Web of Science).      

Announcement date:          
The 2024 Best Guest Editor Award will be announced in March 2026.

The winner will be awarded:      
1. 1000 USD and an electronic certificate signed by the Editor-in-Chief;      
2. An opportunity to edit a new Special Issue in JSSS in 2026, with all papers published free of charge after standard peer review;      
3. A special interview invitation. The special interviews will be featured on the journal homepage and across all media promotion platforms of the journal and OAE Publishing Inc.      
4. Opportunities to serve as Chair(s) or Guest Speaker(s) for journal webinars.

JSSS Best Guest Editor Award will be given every two years.
