Journal of Materials Informatics Receives Its 2025 Impact Factor: 8.0, Q1

On June 17, 2026, Clarivate released the 2025 Journal Citation Reports (JCR). We are delighted to announce that Journal of Materials Informatics (JMI) has received a 2025 Impact Factor of 8.0 and has been ranked in the first quartile (Q1).

Following the attainment of its first Impact Factor of 5.6 in 2024, JMI has continued to show strong academic momentum and expanding global recognition. In the Materials Science, Multidisciplinary category, JMI is ranked 102nd among 472 journals, marking another significant milestone in the journal's development. This achievement highlights JMI's rising influence in materials informatics and its contribution to data-driven materials discovery and innovation.
