OAE Publishing Inc. and Shanghai University Establish Strategic Partnership to Advance Journal of Materials Informatics

In October 2025, OAE Publishing Inc. and Shanghai University, China, officially established a strategic partnership to jointly develop Journal of Materials Informatics (JMI). This collaboration aims to enhance the journal's academic quality and global impact, strengthen high-level academic exchange, and promote further advancement in the field of materials informatics.

Shanghai University, one of China's pioneering institutions in materials genome engineering and materials informatics research, has built a strong academic foundation and gained significant international recognition in this field. With its rigorous academic standards and global perspective, JMI is steadily emerging as an important platform for high-quality research in materials informatics.

This partnership marks an important milestone in the journal's development. Together, OAE and Shanghai University will work to advance the academic ecosystem of materials informatics, provide an international exchange platform for researchers, and promote scientific innovation at the intersection of materials science, artificial intelligence, and related interdisciplinary fields---opening a new chapter in materials informatics research and publishing.
