Professor Georges Emile Raymond Grau Appointed Associate Editor of Extracellular Vesicles and Circulating Nucleic Acids
Extracellular Vesicles and Circulating Nucleic Acids (EVCNA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Georges Emile Raymond Grau as Associate Editor, in recognition of his expertise in vascular immunology, the immunopathology of infectious diseases, and extracellular vesicle biology.

Professor, Vascular Immunology Unit, School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Sydney, Medical Foundation Building (K25), Camperdown, Australia
About Professor Grau
Professor Georges Grau (MD, University of Liège; Privat-Docent, University of Genève) has held the Chair of Vascular Immunology at the University of Sydney since 2006. His research on the immunopathological mechanisms of infectious diseases focuses on cytokines, the microvascular endothelium, and extracellular vesicles. He served as Discipline Leader (Pathology) at the Marie Bashir Institute from 2015 to 2021. He is a member of the Sydney Analytical Advisory Committee and has served as Chair of the Vibrational Spectroscopy Committee since 2020. In 2021, he was re-elected president of the Australian-New Zealand Microcirculation Society (ANZMS). His research interests span the immunopathological mechanisms of infectious diseases, with a focus on cytokines, the microvascular endothelium, and extracellular vesicles. His work also examines how cellular communication and vascular–immune interactions contribute to disease processes.
As Associate Editor, Professor Grau will help evaluate submissions in his areas of expertise and support the journal's editorial development. His appointment will support EVCNA's commitment to rigorous peer review and the dissemination of scientifically robust research advancing understanding of extracellular vesicles and circulating nucleic acids.
EVCNA warmly welcomes Professor Grau to the editorial team and looks forward to his contributions to the journal and the broader extracellular vesicle research community.
