Energy Z Celebrates 38 Editorial Members on the 2025 Highly Cited Researchers List

On November 12, 2025, Clarivate Analytics officially released the 2025 Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) list, which recognizes researchers whose publications rank among the top 1% by citations in their respective fields over the past decade, based on systematic citation data analysis.

This year, 6,868 scientists from over 1,300 institutions across 60 countries and regions were honored for their high-impact research. Many researchers were cited across multiple Essential Science Indicators (ESI) fields, resulting in a total of 7,131 appearances on the 2025 list. These figures highlight the dynamism of global research and the increasing prevalence of interdisciplinary collaboration.

In the field of energy science, the international open access journal Energy Z (EZ)–launched this year by OAE–is proud to have 32 Editorial Board members and 6 Youth Editorial Board members named among the Highly Cited Researchers, reflecting the outstanding expertise of its editorial team.
