Welcome Prof. Jung Ho Kim as Editor-in-Chief of ENERGIX
OAE's newly launched international open access journal ENERGIX is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Jung Ho Kim as its Editor-in-Chief. Prof. Kim is a leading researcher in energy materials at the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials (ISEM), University of Wollongong (UOW), New South Wales, Australia.
About the Journal
ENERGIX is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research on advanced materials and technologies for next-generation energy, electronic, and superconducting systems. It covers a broad range of topics, including superconductivity, condensed matter physics, energy storage and conversion materials, and device-relevant applications, with particular emphasis on structure-property relationships and real-world technological integration. In addition, ENERGIX highlights theoretical, computational, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven approaches that accelerate materials discovery and translation. Through these interdisciplinary perspectives, the journal aims to support research advances relevant to energy sustainability, quantum technologies, and next-generation electronics.
About Prof. Jung Ho Kim

Prof. Jung Ho Kim is a distinguished scholar in the fields of energy storage, conversion materials, and functional nanomaterials, with a research portfolio spanning advanced battery systems, supercapacitors, and sustainable energy technologies.
At UOW, Prof. Kim serves as Professor and Coordinator of the Energy Conversion Group at ISEM, where he leads interdisciplinary research efforts focused on next-generation energy solutions. His research interests encompass lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, solid-state electrolytes, flexible energy storage devices, and related electrochemical systems.
Prof. Kim has authored more than 381 peer-reviewed journal articles and has an H-index of 71 (Scopus), reflecting the impact and influence of his work in energy materials research.
As Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Kim will oversee the journal's editorial strategy, peer-review standards, and publication policies, guiding ENERGIX toward becoming a trusted and valuable outlet for high-quality research in areas such as energy storage materials, superconductors, batteries, condensed matter physics, and simulation studies.
