21 Board Members of Artificial Intelligence Surgery Recognized in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2025 List
On September 19, 2025, Stanford University and Elsevier released the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists list, evaluating nearly 7 million scientists worldwide. The ranking considers multiple metrics, including citation counts, h-index, hm-index, and citations of single/first-author papers, spanning 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. It assesses academic influence from two dimensions: Career-long Impact, which reflects lifetime contributions throughout their scientific career, and Single-year Impact, which highlights academic achievements over the past year.
We are delighted to share that 21 board members of Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS) have been included in this prestigious list:
- 21 members were listed in the Career-long Impact category.
- 20 members were featured in both the Career-long and Single-year Impact categories.
This recognition highlights the exceptional contributions and global impact of our Board members in advancing artificial intelligence applications in surgery.
