Dr. Emad Shehata, Dr. Inês Figueira and Dr. Daniel Perrone Won the Best Oral, Poster Presentation Awards at FBHC2020 Sponsored by MRR

The 3rd International Conference on Food Bioactives and Health (FBHC2020) was successfully held from June 21 to 24, 2022, in Parma, Italy.

The conference was hosted by Madegus S.r.l. and the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition, University of Parma, Parma, Italy. The Editorial Board members of Microbiome Research Reports (MRR), Prof. Daniele Del Rio and Prof. Pedro Mena from the University of Parma in Italy, are the chairs of this conference.

Moreover, we are glad to announce the names of three researchers awarded by Microbiome Research Reports.

The winner of the Best Oral Presentation is Dr. Emad Shehata with the presentation titled “COLONIC TRANSFORMATION OF ANTHOCYANINS IS PARTLY SPONTANEOUS AND PARTLY DRIVEN BY THE GUT MICROBIOTA”.

The winners of the Best Poster Presentation are Dr. Inês Figueira with the presentation titled “LOW-MOLECULAR WEIGHT (POLY)PHENOL METABOLITES PRE-CONDITIONING ATTENUATES DOPAMINERGIC DEGENERATION IN A 3D CELLULAR MODEL OF PARKINSON’S DISEASE” and Dr. Daniel Perrone with the presentation titled “GREEN COFFEE INFUSION ADDITION AND ENZYMATIC BIOPROCESSING INCREASES BIOACCESSIBILITY AND COLONIC METABOLISM OF BREAD PHENOLIC COMPOUNDS”.
