Dr. Jiang received a PhD on Environmental Engineering in July 2009 under Prof. Jiamo Fu from State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou, China. He has got the Master degree in July 2006 on Analytical Chemistry at School of Chemical and Chemistry, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou, China. He was a visiting scientist between 2012 and 2013 at the Environmental Centre, Lancaster University, UK, and currently appointed as a professor at the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Lanzhou, China. He is focus on studying the environmental sources, fate and human exposure to emerging trace organic chemicals, such as antibiotics, PAHs, OCPs, PCBs, PCNs, and PBDEs. Dr. Jiang has published more than 90 articles in peer reviewed scientific journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, etc. He is an editorial board member of journal Environmental Science Research and the journal Advances in Environmental Protection.
