Adeel Mahmood graduated, a PhD in Environmental Biology and Ecotoxicology from Quaid-I-Azam University Pakistan, and then was awarded a Presidential postdoctoral fellowship (PIFI) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, where he worked at Environmental Sciences and Engineering section. Currently, he holds the position of Departmental Head of Environmental Sciences in GC Women University Sialkot, Pakistan. He has been awarded various science awards at national and international levels. Adeel’s areas of expertise are Environmental Public Health, Environmental Monitoring and risk assessment of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and Toxic Metals; and their effects on form and functionality of biota, and ecological systems; Environmental hazards to human health, risk profiling of particular disorder.
