Prof. Boris Johnson-Restrepo received his PhD at the State University of New York at Albany in the US with Prof. Kurunthachalam Kannan and realized a short post-doctorate training at Harvard University with Prof. Chensheng Alex Lu. Boris Johnson-Restrepo is a professor and a senior researcher in Chemistry Department at the University of Cartagena in Colombia. He has received honors and awards throughout his career, such as the recipient of Paul C. Lemon award. Prof. Johnson-Restrepo made contribution to environmental chemistry, in particular to heavy metals, organic pollutants and emerging contaminants in the environment focus on human exposure and risk assessment.
