The 2nd Editorial Board Meeting of Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment Successfully Held Online

On 13 Dec 2022, the 2nd online Editorial Board meeting of Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment (JEEA) was successfully held. The meeting was chaired by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Stuart Harrad, from the University of Birmingham (UK).

Most of the Editorial Board members attended the meeting to discuss the progress and development plan of JEEA. The meeting agenda includes the following:

1. Welcome speech and introduction of new Editorial Board members;
2. 2022 journal annual report and acknowledgments to Editorial Board members;
3. Emphasize the mission of running the journal, the pursuit of high-quality publication, and the development goal, etc;
4. The outlook and development plan for 2023;
5. Free discussion;
6. Closing statement.

During the meeting, Prof. Stuart Harrad presented the current progress of JEEA, including publication, citations, important events, and new Editorial Board members. The development and progress of JEEA were shown in specific data, figures, and tables, which are contributed with the support of the Editorial Board members.

Prof. Stuart Harrad also reported the development plan of the journal in 2023 from the following aspects: publishing plan, promotion policy, citation, conference cooperation, important database application, etc. Dr. Lisa Melymuk, Dr. Nikiforos Alygizakis, Dr. André Henrique Rosa, Dr. Mihalis Lazaridis, Dr. Noel J. Aquilina, Dr. Hongjun Mao and other members offered their suggestions and expressed their continued support for the development of the journal.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Stuart Harrad gave a brief summary of the meeting and expressed his gratitude to all participants.

Here, the Editorial Office of JEEA would like to convey sincere gratitude and best wishes to all the Editorial Board members. JEEA will continue adhering to the principle of high-quality publishing, explore innovative academic topics, publish valuable academic research and advance the field of environmental exposure assessment.
