About: In this inaugural year of fully implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, thoroughly carrying out the directives of the 2026 National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference sessions, and comprehensively implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan, China's comprehensive green transition in economic and social development has entered a critical phase. To actively and steadily advance carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, further promote the deep integration of new energy, smart technologies, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), and explore the innovation pathways and industrial development directions for China's CCUS technologies under the carbon neutrality goals, the "5th China Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Technology Conference" is scheduled to be held at Nanjing University's Suzhou Campus in July 2026. Centered on the theme "New Energy and Smart Technologies Empowering CCUS to Achieve Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality," this conference will establish a high-level platform for exchange and cooperation to systematically explore key issues, cutting-edge directions, and practical pathways for the development of CCUS and related low-carbon technologies.
