The 1st International Conference on Material Microstructures  & Microstructures Editorial Board Meeting, ICMM 2024

The 1st International Conference on Material Microstructure  & Microstructures Editorial Board Meeting (ICMM 2024) will be held at Hainan University China Japan Friendship Exchange Center Hotel in Hainan, China from 4 – 6 January, 2024. The conference is jointly organized by Hainan University, University of Science and Technology Beijing and the journal of Microstructures.

Microstructures of materials involves examining elements, phase properties, dimensions quantity, and distribution in material structure. The key physical and chemical properties of materials hinge on these microstructure parameters. The design and development of high-performance materials relies on understanding the relationship between microstructure and properties. The detailed examination of material microstructure will increasingly contribute to advancements in global material science research.

This conference has the following objectives:

• Foster collaboration in the realm of material microstructures.
• Advance the development of science and technology, with a focus on material microstructure design, modelling, characterization, and observation.
• Facilitate the interdisciplinary fusion of materials, chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and other related fields.
• Improve the level of science and technology in the field of material microstructure and its industrial applications.

• Microstructure design and analysis for advanced functional materials;
• Microstructure characteristics of structural materials;

Hotel Information

The China Japan Friendship Exchange Center of Hainan University was recently opened in 2018, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Haikou. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Haikou East Railway Station located approximately 11km away and Meilan International Airport roughly 28km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Hainan University, Haikou Bell Tower and Baishamen Park all nearby.
