Bio
Thilde Bech Bruun is a geographer and an Associate Professor in Climate Change at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has done extensive research on sustainable land use and climate change mitigation in the land-use sector, focusing on carbon- and nutrient dynamics of traditional systems in the Global South. Her major research outputs are framed within the context of social and environmental justice, contributing to the ongoing scientific and political debate on these issues concerning REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation).
