Biography:
Doctoral Supervisor and Head of the Regenerative Medicine Materials Team at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Currently serving as Executive Deputy Director of Ruijin Hospital / Shanghai Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Center at Ruijin Hospital, and Deputy Director of the Shanghai Key Laboratory for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Osteoarthritis Prevention and Treatment. Recognized as a Young Top Talent of the “Ten Thousand Talents Program” by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee. His research focuses on translational biomaterials for bone tissue engineering and osteoarticular repair and reconstruction, with a strong emphasis on clinical translation. H-index 98, repeatedly listed among Global Highly Cited Researchers and the top 2% of scientists worldwide. Serves as Council Member and Vice Chair in the Chinese Society for Biomaterials and is the Domestic Editor-in-Chief of Plastic and Aesthetic Research.

Biography:
He is a Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Biological Science and Medical Engineering at Donghua University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chongqing University (2004), and completed his postdoctoral study at Tongji University (2004-2006) and University of Michigan (2008-2009, Postdoc Visiting Scholar). His research focuses on biomaterials, nanomedicine, biofabrication and tissue engineering. Dr. He has received more than 30 projects granted by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. He published over 240 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals of biomaterials and obtained more than 36 patents. He is currently serving as the associate editor of the academic journals "Composites part B: Engineering ", and the member of editorial board of "ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering" and "Smart Materials in Medicine". He is also serving as the member of council of Chinese Society for Biomaterials, the deputy director of Bone Repair Materials Division of Chinese Society for Biomaterials.

Tonghe Zhu is a professor, graduate supervisor, and the head of Multidisciplinary Innovation Centre for Bioadditive Manufacturing of Shanghai University of Engineering Science. He now serves as a young editor for Burns & Trauma. His research interests mainly focus on biomedical materials, biological additive manufacturing, tissue engineering polymeric formulations, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Zhu has received 14 projects granted by the NKR&DPC, NSFC, etc. Dr. Zhu has also been selected for Shu Guang Scholar, Shanghai Oriental Talent, and Shanghai RisingStar Program, etc. In addition, he has been the first/ corresponding author of 40 SCI papers in ACS Nano, Bioactive Materials, Advanced Fiber Materials, Advanced Science , and Advanced Functional Materials.

Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Master’s Supervisor, holding a Doctorate in Orthopedic Surgery and serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow, with clinical expertise in the surgical management of spinal disorders, including cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, fractures, and related innovative treatment techniques. He has served as Principal Investigator for three NSFC grants and one Excellent Young Scientist Fund from a State Key Laboratory, and has published over 40 papers in high-impact journals such as Bone Research and Biomaterials, including five articles with IF >10 (highest IF 22.9), eight CAS Q1 TOP papers, four cover-feature publications, and more than 1,800 citations. His scholarly contributions include participation in expert consensus development on skeletal aging biomarkers, with work cited in four international orthopedic textbooks. He has received multiple honors, including Chongqing High-Level Young Medical Talent, Army Science and Technology Talent, and Postdoctoral Innovative Talent. He currently serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Chongqing Medical Association Orthopedics Branch, Reviewer for NSFC, and Youth Editorial Board Member for several SCI Q1 journals.
