Recipient of awards including the Second Prize of Science and Technology by the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine (as the first contributor) and the East China Plastic Surgery Young Scholar Award.

Dr. Sun focuses on research in damaged skin tissue repair and has published papers as a corresponding author (including co-corresponding author) in high-impact international journals such as Med, Science Bulletin, and Advanced Science. Notable achievements include three cover-featured articles, one ESI Top 1% highly cited paper, and a total of over 2,000 citations.

Biography

Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Executive Deputy Director of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Specializes in orbital soft tissue reconstruction following tumor resection or trauma and facial rejuvenation treatments. He has led 8 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation. Published over 30 SCI-indexed papers as the first author and corresponding author, with several articles having an impact factor exceeding 10. Recipient of a Second Prize for Science and Technology at the provincial and ministerial level.

Currently, Prof. Zhang serves as the Chair of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, an Executive Committee Member of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and the President of the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Division of the Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics.

Biography

Attending Physician in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Facial Nerve and Facial Plastic Surgery Center, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Hospital, Harvard University and the Department of Plastic Surgery, Basel University Hospital, Switzerland. He also served as a visiting scholar at Queen Mary University of London. Holds membership in various professional organizations, including the Minimally Invasive and Dermatologic Plastic Surgery Division of the Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics, the Bio-tissue Preservation and Utilization Division of the Chinese Society of Anatomy, the Sir Charles Bell Society, the Shanghai Medical Association, and the Chinese Society of Anatomy.

Dr. Wang specializes in surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, as well as the clinical management of early and late-stage facial paralysis and research on peripheral nerve regeneration. As a principal investigator, he has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Postdoctoral Fund, and the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation. Research findings have been published in over 20 peer-reviewed international journals. Notably, a study on facial fat grafting was featured as a cover article in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), the most prestigious journal in plastic surgery, and was highlighted as the Editor’s Choice article of the month.
