Optical Genome Mapping (OGM) in the Molecular Diagnosis of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD)

Prof. Lijia Huang is a CCMG and ABMGG certified Clinical Molecular Geneticist. She is an associate director of the Genetics Diagnostic Lab in the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario(CHEO) and is an associate Professor at the department of Pathology and Lab Medicine in the University of Ottawa, Canada,Her clinical focus includes rare disease diagnosis using whole genome and whole exome sequencing, muscular diseases caused by repeat expansion or contraction, and hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
